Katie Giganti is a painter and photo-montage artist living and working in Mt. Airy, MD. Her works are included in many corporate collection in the DC Metro/Baltimore areas, including Booz Allen Hamilton, Holy Cross Hospital, PNC Bank, and the Circuit Court of Montgomery County. Katie's current body of work focuses on symbols of childhood memories, often being nature-based and many of her pieces implement materials used in the traditional folk art-making method of tole painting, which involves using metal and household items as the substrate.
